Gait analysis
Gait analysis looks in detail at your running style. It is used to identify issues such as overstriding, pronation, poor upper body posture, and other imbalances.
I carry out gait analysis sessions outside in your natural running environment. Videos are taken using a mobile phone, which can then be downloaded into a gait analysis App to be studied in more detail. Core stability is also assessed in the session because the ability to engage core and glute muscles when running is vital for injury prevention. This is done by looking at how you perform exercises such as single leg balancing, squats, and lunges.
Once any problems have been identified, you will be given specific drills, cues, and training advice to help correct these issues to reduce your risk of injury and improve your running.

Are you training for a specific race? Personalised training plans are available on request for any distance of running race ranging from 5km to ultra-marathons.
