Hi, I’m Emma. A Sports Massage Therapist, Running Coach, and Personal Trainer based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
As someone who loves endurance events I know how important it is for us to achieve our goals whilst remaining injury free. If we do get injured, we need someone who understands what we are going through, both physically and emotionally. I’ve completed a wide variety of events ranging from 5 km and 10km races, to marathons, ultra-marathons, half iron man, and long distance open water swims. I realised the importance of regular sports massage when I became injured after my first marathon, and this is what inspired me to qualify as a sports massage therapist myself.
It’s not just about the massage though, we also need appropriate training plans, an efficient running style and strength and conditioning work. So my experience as a Running Coach and Personal Trainer compliments my role as a Sports Massage Therapist perfectly. I love writing personalised training plans for people incorporating all these elements and helping them achieve their running potential.
